Non-Ortho Phthalate Static Cling Vinyl
CPSC laws now require
phthalate-free products to be used in toys and household items,
including graphic media. Make sure you have a solution.
General Description:
Non-Ortho phthalate (NOP) film is manufactured in accordance with
California legislation, prohibiting the use of phthalates in toys
and child care products. Static cling vinyl is an ideal media for
window signage. It is used for point-of-purchase advertising,
promotional items, seasonal decals, protective layering and many
more applications.
Product
Description: 6mil Clear static cling vinyl. Thickness
tolerance: +/- 10%. Dimensional stability: - 3% (50° C x 10
minutes). White, Kromekote liners are available in standard 70#,
90#, 112# (8pt.) and 125# (10pt.) thickness. Other liner colors,
types and thicknesses available upon request (minimum quantities may
apply). Recommendation: 60 Day
printable shelf life from the day it leaves Plastiprint’s
dock (Shelf life can be longer depending on climate control.)
Vinyls:
6-mil
clear vinyl:
6-mil vinyl has slightly better adhesion
than 7 or 8mil vinyl, but with slightly more apparent flow lines
(optical distortion). Good for price sensitive applications and
where longer rolls are desirable while limiting weight and roll
diameter. Only available in clear.
Liners:
70# Kromekote liner:
Designed for Roll Fed print applications.
90#
Kromekote liner: Designed for Roll Fed & Roll to Sheet
applications that need sheeting after printing.
112#
(8-pt.) Kromekote liner: 112# white, Kromekote paper board
liner with printable backside. Good lay-flat and economy for
applications with limited ink coverage.

(8-pt.) 125# (10pt.) Kromekote Liner: 125# white, Kromekote
paper board liner with printable backside is considered the industry
standard thickness. The 125# liner offers best lay flat and
stiffness for heavy ink coverage and high speed sheet feeding.
Print Applications: Non top-coated Static cling vinyl is
suitable for printing with most screen printing ink systems, Solvent
& Eco Solvent Digital Ink Jet, UV Curable printing, HP LATEX solvent
printer, UV offset lithography and UV flexography.
